I can surely confirm this that there has been a pagerank update. I have just checked my 5 new websites, all of them have had a pagerank allotted to them. My new websites have PR1-PR2 assigned & old websites also have their PR updated. So I can surely say its a official pagerank update. How has the PR update been for you?
I just concentrate of 2 sites of mine. One is a blog where all copy paste articles are there and I just started this blog on january. It has got PR2 now . But the main site, which has been running since last year and which has always been on first page 1st or 2nd result at max has gone below to PR2 from PR3. Im really very sad about that as it has got all the unique contents and this brings me organic customers all through the day.. Not sure, if this PR2 decrease is going to affect my SERPs.. Im not happy..
One of my other sites is mostly duplicate content and it went from PR 0 to PR 2 the update before this one. The drop in PR shouldn't affect your SERPs any.
I have seen update on my few sites. But others are not updated. How long this PR update generally takes. I think it takes around 1 week to affect. Mean to say this may be 1 week process. And can you please tell me when the next PR update will happen? thanks
I just got a pr 2 from the recent update. It used to be pr 0. I wonder when is the next update would be.
Just checked mine like now, three of my sites have gone up from PR0 and 1 to PR2, two of which have no content change at all for months and the other only slightly. Another of my sites with only slight content update is PR1, while the only site I have ever attempted to SEO is PR1 (although I only got it some backlinks a few days ago so don't expect them to do anything) Also my m8's, who also has never done SEO is PR2 for a site that was stripped and now is acting as a message as a cease of operations and redirect to his new project, having PR2 for that, and his new project that he's focusing all his efforts on (although as I said not SEO, he's working on a gameserver stats tracking system, a very good one at that) is PR1, having much more content than the redirect. What's going on lol has Google gone mad, Or is it a way to weed out potential backlink farms? I don't really monitor this kind of thing so I don't know of the history with Google PR updates
