001 java.net.UnknownHostException:

    Maybe old news to some but I was getting the "001 java.net.UnknownHostException: " error message on some of my blogger blogs for days at a time on some occasions. Frustrating to say the least.

    This morning I changed some info in my settings that appears to have "fixed" the problem. In the publishing options instead of using ftp.mysite.com I entered the specific IP address and like magic blog publishing started working again. I'm not sure why, I just know it worked for me. If you're running in to the 001 java.net.UnknownHostException: error try using your specific IP for the FTP server name and see if it helps.
