My site is Suspended (Overloading MySQL server) I would like to turn it back on 000webhost but first wants to be paid. "If your account was suspended due to terms of service violation, it could be unsuspended only after upgrade." I then asked at least to get me back my data and close the site. But I always want to first upgrade the account. Is it proper? I have no right to have access to my data?
If you overloaded the MYSQL then that probably means that you're getting traffic. There are some really cheap server providers out there (and I mean cheap) which will provide you shared hosting for about 1 USD per month.
I'm sure they are leaglly in the right, according to their TOS, but what a crappy way to treat clients. They should at least give you a backup of your data, unless you were spamming or involved in some illegal activity.
this is insane, but I guess now you know how they get paid users. They really should give you access to the backups, (its wrong to hold your data prisoner). Just signup for a month, get the data, find another host and then close your account -> better then losing your site and data altogether. Dont move to another free host... seriously, learn from your mistakes.
Do as matt_62 mentioned. Pay $7.84 for the 1st month by choosing Pay Every Month, then take backup and move site to another host.
The site is hxxp://interno.comze.com. There are many scripts harmless car products. The site is still working, but not allowed to change FTP and MySQL. They just suck!
000webhost is in the right. You were given a free account which you abused by exceeding mysql limits. Personally, depending on why you exceeded the limits would determine whether or not I let you have a copy of your data. If it was an accident I'd be more lenient than if it was spam or fraudulent activities. Good luck to you!
If getting a backup of your site is worth the 1 month fee then it's really your only option at this point. It really sucks but just another reason not to use a free hosting solution like 000webhost http://www.thefreehosts.com/our-experience-with-000webhost/
