0 weight

Are any ads going to be shown for a site that has 0 weight? I have a referral, and at this point, they have not been able to crack their way into google, therefore the weight is 0.

I believe that even with referal wieght, YOUR account has to validate i.e. system has to find valid ads on your base URL in order to validate and get weight.

What he means is you have to have an active account yourself (fully validated) before you can even utilize any reffered weight. So even if you had 100k of referal weight you would have 0 ads if you didn't have your own validated site.

 

So basically no one should join the program (or at least not if they want a benefit) if they have no PR?!?!

 

I understood. My site is validated, and has been for a while.

I was just getting clarfication on the numbers, and whether a site could have any weight if they had no presence in google.

A coop is about everyone helping everyone, a site that's not going to contribute anything to the network shouldn't be reaping all the benefits of it.

 

Then, lets all get together and help speedpro get listed in google.

Oh, and speedpros site is contributing like crazy showing everyones ads, while patiently waiting to get a little something in return. (which will happen in time.)

 

I have a few pages in Google for a site I'm testing this out on -- recently validated, but showing 0 weight. The lowly site is PR2.

Is it customary to have 0 weight on the first day?
