0 weight on base / master account. Is this OK?

I recently took off the COOP on my base/ master account so now that site does not validate. But I have several other accounts which point their weight to the base account. Their weight is showing up fine. All my ads are setup in the base account.

Is this ok? I just want to make sure all my ads are being display properly even though my base / master site is no longer running the COOP.

    Thanks!!!

Crap. I don't want change all those ads. So I guess I'll just put another site running the COOP in the base account.

Shawn has already said that you need to validate to show ads, no matter how much referral or consolidation weight you have.

Don't want to hunt for the thread, but that is the official version.
