did you do much link building, i have no problem getting the content for a site as im a writer myself so more than happy to write for my sites but i lack in the skill of being able to successfully build links. any tips?

 

When you copy, make sure that you don't copy everything. Just copy some part of the content, and block quote them. Before and after the block quotes, you add your commentary on the topic. That way, you have relevant outbound links, and your own unique content ( the commentary)... The bigger your commentary, the better...

BTW, subdomain is not a bad idea, but I prefer to go individual domains, looks more authentic, and less spammy... instead of finance.forboats.com.au I would register financeforboats.com.au ... unless of course you are not trying to build a content empire like about.com
It is just a matter of 60 dollars ( 10 a pop) for six domains, and you re talking of 1000 a month in revenues

 

I bougth 10 domains to do this work

 

I would think it would be hard to get traffic if you use copied content.

Bloggspotter, the whole idea of my system is that each subdomain is a part of the mother domain for example

www.boat.onfinance.com.au
www.car.onfinance.com.au
www.houseimprovements.onfinance.com.au

etc etc

The blockquote idea is a great one I already use for original content. When I write my ebook on this system, I will show you how you can add blockquotes to make original content and get all the content you want for free using a fantastic script I use.

I have been pm'd and asked about dupe content. I have to admit that using content already used by other website owners isnt the very best way to go, but in this example its the easiest way to start.

I started by using articles from ezinearticles, but now I have a couple of writers who write me a couple of hundred articles a month. I then add them to my blogs, optimising each article using WordPress.

And to those that keep asking me, I work fulltime online as does my partner.

 

The posts need to be unique and build buzz, otherwise I cannot see it making a killing in terms of money. Make sure the articles are about something unique that nobody is not always talked about to make it stand out. Good thoughts though the blog looks nice I am reading it right now.

what you did is a block quote Quoting what I said by including them withing the QUOTE tags.. In fair use of copyright material, it is ok if you copy about 10% of the content, and using the blockquote making the user know that the content has been copied with a link back to the source...

 

I get the idea.. I was just saying what i do and I am not saying it is a bad idea at all..

Well I just grab a sentence or two from another related article and then I place it within a blockquote.

With wordpress SEO is important but with plugins I get very good results in the serps.
