I believe its "We Buy Houses" that he ranks 39... I suggest you just continue your off-page optimization... gather as more related links as you can... regular updates and adding fresh contents to the site can improved your SERP's...

Well just using SEO for Firefox, it says you have 44 cached pages, and 35 supplemental. This means that google has little value for half your site! Not good! You have a reasonable amount of links pointing to your site. Without looking at all of them, it seems like you've got lots of low quality links. The problem is is that ranking high is more about quality then quantity! Recommendations: Link Build! Quality & Relevance. It depends on your budget whether to hire someone or not. Cost vs Benefit. If ranking higher earns you thousands of dollars more, then hell yeah, go for it! I do some SEO work for not only myself but some other members of DP. Give it a think over and send me a PM if you want to chat. Focus on building those backlinks up, remember, quality not quantity!
To start add the link to your sig here and post about 5 posts a day it will really help you in the ranks.
