google does not show anymore of the backlinks with the syntax link:domain.com. You could use yahoo explorer, google webmasters or backlinkwatch.com to identify your inbound links. I use these to track my free video sharing website.

 

what is the sense to use Yahoo, if you are trying to rank website for GOogle ??

 

Google doesn't show you all backlinks that he found. So, use Yahoo!

First time Google Webmaster tools told me how many backlinks but one month ago all the backlinks disapeared ? What's happened and who can tell me why?

Yes I mean, google backlinks count on on check PR websites. never tryed Google webmaster backlink tool

I am not sure with this. Actually, I check my backlinks with my control panel of my host service (Hostgator) and a paid tool named "Market Samurai", they both show more backlinks than yahoo shows. Sometimes, 20 times.

 

Good info to know for someone starting to build backlinks. I will not be discouraged if they do not show up in google.
