That can be true until someone visits the blog so the next logical step must be: Noone clicks your ads.
What did you expect??? Do you click on every site you visit??? I have a blog that gets 200 to 300 uniques per day and only get like 2~10 clicks per day.
Actually you have a good question. If you get 90 clicks or 100 clicks. You have to be getting at the very minimum 1% CTR otherwise something is wrong. Whats wrong here are a few factors. One your ad colors. I can't really see your ads, well I can see them but they can't be easily read so I skip right over them. All I see on first site are big black blocks. I've noticed from experimentation that ads that blend in the border and background perform the best. Also you said you got 90 visits. Most of the time I see clickthrough rates of 15% not unusual with targeted traffic. Any idea where your traffic is coming from. If people are actively searching for the kind of stuff on your blog, high CTR. And finally the content. The content is the reason why poeple will arrive at your blog not the ads. Do you have enough content to keep people entertained? I also tried making money off of these types of keywords like loans and stuff because they are saposedly high paying keywords, but guess what? People don't like the content so they leave. I made a site on funny commercials, anyone can like funny commercials or a video blog that funny so I see higher CTR, longer visit times.
0 CTR is definately a concern. but all this actully depends on the nature of the visitors. you can never know what's expected.??? stay positive work hard
Hi jameskon. Just make sure that visits are different than visitors. You should see the number of unique visitors coming to the blog. If you have only 3 or 4 people coming to the blog, chances are none of them click on the ads. When you have more traffic, you will have more clicks.
hi, i have seen the middle one of your 3 blogs given in your sig. and i agree with profs77 that your color blending might be one factor which stops the visitor to even read the content of ad. One thing not related to your question is that i have found some spelling mistakes in your posts. Its natural but you should check for such mistakes after completing the post; i use Google Toolbar for this purpose, its quick and efficient;
