Why do you assume we would want to run a website for a full year then trash it because we are too cheap to pay $10?

Thats what people usually do with these .info domains. Get some sense before you start typing.

I usually find by the end of the year quite a few domains have made reg fees and some much more while others that don't perform just get sent to auction and if they don't sell I give them away or let thme expire. Some .info's make quite a bit of income when you have the right content and system.

I trash any domain that doesn't make its keep and then some...
Or else its not worth the headache of adminstrating it so I just let it expire/trash it.

Sure, but if you wanted to invest in a good name you wouldn't be buying 99 cent .info(s). You would be buying .orgs or .coms.

99 cent domains are throwaways. I just let 100 or so expire.

You seem to have it all figured out. Personally I try not to build sites that aren't worth $10 after a year.

Yeah thats about as cheap as it gets for dot info, but you could easily buy something that you do not need, and the renewals thats always the catch. Shame they can't offer transfers for this price.

So, are these $ 0.99 .info domain names still available? I am looking forward to register some 15-20 .info domain names. If any one have any info regarding it then please let me know.

    I agree,
I question anyones motive for wanting to buy giant bulk amounts of 99c info's unless your running proxies with them.

People run networks of many different types of websites... (directories,blogs,proxies,etc...) no matter what the reason, some people dont know that they are set to auto renew and not for the discount price. It's just a heads up.

It's pathetic how some kids around here love to chase their post count.

There is no way to run hundred of info website, I don't care if blogs directories, even directories require many hours of moderations or else you will have spammers putting there spam sites into your directory..And Specially blogs too. The site would be very low qaulity most likely scraping content. there is no way you could run more then few blogs and write good content to them. No man has infinted hours in his day he has to sleep and also have a life and eat and attend to family and other things in life then standing in front of the computer writing articels for hundreds of .info blogs.

I think 100 websites is a nice number to manage as a full time job. I have more than this but in the future 100 is a number I think willl work well. Too many and then yes you can get lost looking after them all.
