I'm not sure if this has been posted but Godaddy are offering .info domains for 99c again, I guess you have to pay for Icann fees too. No coupon needed either.

I wonder how long info promotions will last. Godaddy 1.99 almost always, dotster had .99 cents in Feb, seems like always a place to get cheap infos.

I'm currently getting info domains at less than $1 with icann and privacy included. But this is only for March and I'm not sure what prices I'll have in April... so it's good to know I can go to Godaddy if Afilias stops the promotion with other registrars or my buy rate goes up.

I bought one, that was great thanks! The domain was $0.99+ ICANN fees $0.20 = $1.19

Watch out for all the usual tricks, i.e default registration set up at 2 years, automatic renewal by default,etc...
Just uncheck all those boxes and it should be priced as advertised with no upselling. :)

I will offer a piece of advice with these 99C deals. When you purchase them, Godaddy will automatically set it for auto renew. When the year is up they will automatically charge you the regular $9.99 to renew these domains.

My advice is to set them to "expire" immediately after purchase. Godaddy relies on people buying a ton of these domains making it timely to set them all to expire.

Was waiting for this....I have automated some things and have too many ideas for niches and topics to build a site for.

I believe in being specific. I do not build sites about a general topic but more about a small niche. I find that easier to market and have more success with that approach.

Fi in linkbuilding...if your site is wakeboard-shop.info it's easier to get links using the keywords wakeboard or wakeboard shop then if you have 1 big site like www.shoppingdirectory.com and want links to the wakeboard section. An other parts is if your site is about everything you wil lnever be seen as an authority in a field but more like wallmart.

But some ideas fly and some never come off the ground...so paying $0.99 for a domainname gives you the opportunity to test your niche for next to nothing. When it's profitable you can use the information to expand in that niche.

    Finlly...it's adictive :)
