I'm a casual freelance writer who is looking for a few non-commitment, single or very few article jobs relating to the tech/software niche. Due to a busy lifestyle I am unable to write articles on a monthly basis with tight schedules. Libraries allow you to add multiple folders into a single library, which can contain absolutely anything you want. This means that instead of having only one folder for all your music like back in vista, you can now store your music in separate folders, but all the folders added to your music library can be viewed at the same time in the same window. And you donâ€™t have to limit your libraries to the default libraries Microsoft has included. You can create your own libraries, whether itâ€™s for work documents, programs or even games.

This file system is incredibly useful in some situations, however, can become confusing when (for advanced users usually) you use two operating systems on two different harddrive partitions, and wish to include your Vista documents folder and your Windows 7 documents folder in the same documents library, resulting in duplicate folder names. Of course, thatâ€™s where the library file system goes from being a fantastic new file organization system to being another one of Microsoftâ€™s confusing features. However, you can always add your other partitionâ€™s documents to another library, avoiding confusion altogether.

One of the most common modifications to any of the Microsoft Windows Operating Systems is modifying the visual theme. Themes are preset packages containing graphical appearance details, used to customize the look and feel of the Windows user interface.

The new Windows 7 has given users a whole new level of customization abilities, such as being able to set their desktop background to cycle through a slideshow of pictures anywhere from every 10 seconds to every day, and being able to change the color of the new and improved taskbar.

Users can choose from Windows preset themes, or create their own by customizing window colors, desktop background, screen saver and even choose from a range of sound themes, which are sounds that are heard when different actions are performed.

The look and feel of Windows 7 is a nice upgrade from Vista, and even more so for users who have switched from the near-uncustomizable Windows XP, and the added level of customizability is sure to make Windows 7 a unique operating system for each individual user and their tastes.
