0.5% CTR, 1$ per 1000 impressions; WHY !?

    I have an laptop review site, looking professional, good content but i have really really low earnings, 1$ per 1000 impressions. Is laptop review niche really low paying or em i doing something wrong ?
    btw my site is in signature down.

    Did you try using larger ad blocks? I don't know if this works for your site but try placing a large rectangle (336 x 280 for example) in place of the 234 x 60 ad and see if your clickthroughs improve. I use large rectangles on my content site and so far I'm earning an average of $2-3 per 200-300 impressions.

    Your content is still too less and your google ads inside the post is overlap your words.
    And laptop niche is consider normal niche, "laptop" can go to $3++ per click
