hey, i have a question to Sohan, First, what type of ads is the best for proxy owners? adsense, selling space or other PPC program? second i would like to know how much time it takes from starting a proxy up and to see any visits third question is for all users, what hosting do you use that allows proxy websites? i will now contact google to recive a direct answer from them up to date about proxies. -R
AdSense can work well, but follow their guide lines strictly! CPM I think works well on proxified pages, but you have to give it about a week or two to see results. It would day a few days before you see small hits, and a few weeks to see majoy stuff.
I have over 400, and haven't checked earnings for a month now. Also moving servers, and haven't turned the proxies online again yet.
Hi, Just read all 56 pages of this thread, my first post, and proxies seem pretty cool, but: The whole field seems supersaturated with only the top turning over money of any interest. The pie is simply not big enought so there must be alot of direct compitition for traffic, amongst you guys. (even tho its v.nicy nicy here) If I started it seems a very long (impossiable?) climb to the top, even with above av. time, v.basic understanding, a possiable investment of £1-2k and a desire to listen and get all the foundations right. So is it really worth it? Sohan, Mumbin & all regular posters, great thread v.helpfull
I've had a bad experience personally with kontera. No ads showing up, user account being deleted etc.
Just replying to this thread to save it so I can take in all 56 pages this weekend...WOW. I'm getting my first 2 proxy sites up this week and maybe I can learn a few tips in here. Thanks Eddie
Someone told me that dreamhost didnt accept proxy, is it correct? I have just add a new site at www.w3surfer.com
