I don't know whats happening - I've got 1,300 page views so far, but only two clicks. I'm thinking about just moving the ads in with the content - does anyone else know what to do? The site is osflv.com - I thought by sticking the ads about the menu I'd get some clicks - yesterday I got 5 clicks with a quarter of the pageviews.
=( Well, I just added a bunch of huge ads - really screws up the look of the site. I made them show up randomly - just pisses me off no one would click them.
Instead of using big ads, use a 468x60 ad just under the title of each post. A Maximum of 3 ads per page will be shown. Use Adsense Deluxe to embed them in longer post. Yes, it's a niche but try "sell" it to bloggers that may need a plugin for Wordpress. Add a Buy me a beer plugin. Example in a post: <!--osflv("flv\myfile.flv",param1, param2)--> Parameters can be configure in a default page within Wordpress. It's just an ideal to increase it's popularity. P.S. Webmaster don't tend to click ads. It's a fact.
I am also facing a similar problem.my blog www.techjunkiez.com and www.techjvnkiez.com/forum got 7k + pageviews but i only earned 0.39 dollars with only 5 clicks.any suggestion?
utsav: The same above apply to you. Adsense on the sidebar don't work well and worst in your case. The ads most blend into the post to get more contextual ads. The 300x250 work better for me. Hide your feed counter but not your feed button. 2 readers don't inspire much. Me, I don't care much because I have most visitors for SEO like you I believe and added humor under my button. To help you on that point: 45 Sites To Submit Your RSS Feed(some may take some time) At least do the easy one.
Thanks buddy for the suggestions.i recently added the feedburner plugin which is the reason i hav only 2 readers.any suggestions for my forum
Sorry, I forgot because the link did not work. I don't have a forum but would do like DP. It seem to work for them
