0.02$ is pretty standard. However, if you want to increase that, you may implement the LARGE rectangular 300 by 250. I can't emphasis enough of this. Last time before implementing the large rectangular, i got only 2 cents and now i got 5 cents on average.
yes I've have some 0cent clicks, my best has been a couple of dollars. When you run an article directory you have all sorts of content so the clicks are all over the place when you get them, which also tends to be a hit and miss affair, it depends how keen the reader is to learn more (i.e. click on the google ads).
Hmm.. that does not sound logical that it helps. You are not choosing what kind of format your adwords should be showed in so how can the price be related to that ? I have never heard anybody said this before. Can someone else confirm this ?
Some clicks are 2c some 0c some $1+ ... I'm afraid that's the reality of Adsense - like it or lump it - sorry!
I am just looking in other way, its probably not much advertisers on your niche or may be smartpriced.. Now I like to renew my adwords account to start bidding that costs me only $0.02/click
I would suggest changing some of the content on your pages regularly so the ads change. .02 is REALLY bad. I have had my share of less than that, but, on average, the clicks are in the double figures. Good Luck!
Hello Yes, depend of your niche, but is common 0.01, 0.02 on many niches The key... Get more traffic, add more pages..... Best regards, Jakomo
2 cents is very common. I get a no of 1 cent also every day. Try to get more traffic for your site increase content pages. You can also check some well paid keywords.
Oh yeah? Well once I got a click, and not only did I not get paid, but someone from Google came to my house and bitch slapped me!
The Googlebot will analyze the content of your pages and supply ads for your site to match the content. They share the revenue they generate per click with you, so if you have content for which Google generates low revenue, so will you. So to generate healthy revenue from AdSense you may need different content. Note also, that the revenue varies depending on the origin of the click. Most campaigns are geo-targeted, so if you end up with clicks from countries for which there are few campaigns or campaigns with low maximum bid per click, then you'll generate low revenue too. Finally, if the clicker does not click on the top ad (for which the advertiser bid the highest) you'll get a share of the revenue for a lower bid. We generate up to $2 per click although the average is much lower. You may find this article useful: AdSense Explained
