Definitelly that is CPM payment. Few of the ads on the adsense network is CPM ads and whenever any one of them shows up on your site you get such paid for it based on the number of impression they receive on your site. I get that on daily basis.
how can someone know if google pays for impressions or not, if he didn't ever use adwords. google certainly pays for impressions because there is an option for cpm ads in adwords, i don't think there is anything to discuss about it. btw i also have cpm ads in my website.
If this thread is any indication of the normal help that comes from Digital Point, I may look for another source to get my advice from. I participate in rev sharing here, and I've made several dollars, most of which has come from page impressions. Several of my other channels have only earned money from impressions as well. Click the [?] and it'll show you this: Effective CPM From a publisher's perspective, the effective cost-per-thousand impressions (eCPM) is a useful way to compare revenue across different channels and advertising programs. It is calculated by dividing total earnings by the number of impressions in thousands. For example, if a publisher earned $180 from 45,000 impressions, the eCPM would equal $180/45, or $4.00. However, please keep in mind that eCPM is a reporting feature that does not represent the actual amount paid to a publisher. CPM itself is an anagram for COST-Per-Thousand (using the roman numeral for 1000). That in and of itself shows that there is a price on impressions. To take advice from anyone that says google only pays for clicks, is likely a sign that the person has not been paid by Google. Though, I can say that I have once channel with well over 3k impressions that has yet to make a single cent, so I guess I can understand the misconception...but I understand that it is a misconception. Regardless though, it's likely a good idea to shoot for clicks, as a single click can equate to thousands upon thousands of impressions. Niche can be a HUGE factor in the cost-per-thousand, find the niches that pay for such things, and watch the pennies start rolling in
I think it has to do with digital point. I usually get paid that amount without any click and the source is always digital point
It's not DP, it's the niche. Well, sometimes it's DP, there are several adwords folks wanting your business
its CPM let me explain.Google AdSense runs ads with CPm(Cost per thousand impression) and CPa(cost per action) CPA: You all think u earn when someone clicks because its using CPA.CPA is generally more higher then CPM.Thats is why it is instantly visible on AdSense dashboard. CPM:Google AdWords publishers bid to advertise on your site.this is in terms of CPm. Cost per thousand impressions. For your case you would have got some impressions the day before also.Since AdSense displays earnings only upto 2 decimal points, you earn by each impression which is rolled upto it crosses 0.01$ mark when it is visible. You earn for each impressions of your ads but only the amount is small. A CPm of 2.3 $ is generally considered good though sites also receive CPM of about 50$. For me, CPM is very useful.
