I haven't made any money yet, but I told my dad that I'm positive that I can make money. someone help me.
First of all, read the TOS carefully. Then spend some time reading posts here, you will find a lot of useful tips here. My advice to you is, dont click on your own ad or ask your friends to click on your ad, Google will find out. All the best, cheers mate.
how much traffic have your got , what is your site about / your niche, are you ads relevent to your sites content. Put up some detailed info here and maybe someone will help you a bit.It takes time aswell so be patient.
How long have you been at this? It takes toime to make money. Patience is a great virtue within webmastering circles.
I don't click my own ads and I don't ask my friends to click on them either. Traffic wise I probably get 10 uniques a day. I don't know ways to get traffic. Whats a niche? Thanks www.topspotreview.com
A Niche is basically another word for saying a category or what the site is based on. The first thing I said to myself when I went on the site was where are the ads? I'm viewing at 1280x1024 and I had to scroll down, below all the main content to see the ads.
Ah! I see, mmmm try to put the Google Ads on the top page.. Really this ads don't look very good... Add more and more pages.... Jakomo
it takes time man, but even more than that, it takes hard work...there are a lot of experienced people here who will help you out with advice. 10 uniques is better than zero, you just have to work on making that 10 into 100 and on to a 1000, etc. if you have a new domain and are new to website building, and new to adsense, well then you are learning a lot and that is where your focus should be imho...learn young grasshopper
I have to switch my hosting because there not letting me put any more pages or move my ads up. Any suggestions on hosting plans?
I like LunarPages.com for their forums, their tutorials, low prices and user interface. Recently they have been hard to reach by phone, but for most general questions, you'll find their forums are quite active with helpful people. The other one that I've used is hostmonster.com. They also have very reasonable prices and a decent user interface. I have a slight preference for LunarPages user interface, but it may just be because it's the one I learned on. I've been able to reach HostMonster by phone. They don't have tutorials, but their knowledge base help center did answer at least one question that I had. Hmm... sounds like as I'm talking through it, I'm leaning more hostmonster. I guess Lunarpages was a sentimental favorite of mine since I started with them. I only opened an account with Hostmonster because of their unlimited domains, I had hit the 3 domain limit on Lunarpages. But... now Lunarpages has raised that to 10 domains (or maybe it's 10 add-on domains for a total of 11) on an account.
take it easy. Rome was not built in a day. take time to enrich you content and build a quality site. then traffic and money will come up.
