This seems to be a security issue in Apache's mod_fcgid. What does that have to do with databases?

    Hello,

security of windows network/domain is totally depends on how you configure it.
If you configure security properly then no one can hack your network at any cost.

Windows have default inbuilt firewall, security policy (ipsec) which plays a major role in security provided you have configured it properly.
Windows 2008 firewall is much more advanced.
