Have you heard that - 法律.com ("LAW" in Chinese) sold US$9,638.00 at snapnames.com?! source - IDNClub.com
Are you saying that's high or low? Because I think that is considerabely low for a brand name domain of that popularity.
wow, I didn't know that you can really make a web domain name made up of chinese characters... I am going to make a site called 性交.com hehe... EDIT: okay, that's impossible... you can't submit chinese characters...
I haven't kept up with IDN sales ...in fact I can't remember ever looking at one at all ! I wonder how they typically do at sale. Most of the ones I've seen have just been for the novelty factor...and not for resell/investment. .
LOL!!!!! Thats a nice domain name!!!!! ... for the law one in Chinese... that seems like a fair price... it doesn't seem high at all.. it seems suprizingly cheap!
That seems really low. I had ¶ (dot) net and sold it for $15 this spring, but it was sold to a guy who wanted it for novelty reasons.
Seriously People... How The Hell Do You Get A Hold Of Symbol Based Domain Names?! It's Driving Me Crazy!!!
Oh, wait... someone actually bought sex.com in chinese... HOW DO YOU DO THESE THINGS?! I WANT THE MONEY!!!
Chinese character was not Symbol - and symbol domain names works on internet for quite a long time...
IDN sales are bit more rare I think...unless you really know what you are doing its hard to get anywhere..
Hah chinese character not symbol.if symbol like this @?!(' But i think that domain only known by chinese people only
I'm sorry to tell you that you are wrong - Do you know the most famous IDN sales (on early 2006) - [ æ±äº¬.net ] ("Tokyo" - same writing/character in Chinese & Japanese) for US$10,000 - both the seller & buyer aren't Chinese (or Japanese) - and they know very well abount the deal and the meaning of æ±äº¬.net
