This one's a little bit different from most things posted here. I own a ("brick and mortar" as opposed to online) technology / web design firm. I'm getting so busy I can't keep up, and need someone to make cold calls to local businesses, trying to set up an appointment to meet with a web designer to discuss their options for a website. You will be paid a set percent commission based upon when the appointment you set closes to a sale. The default commission rate is $195 to $325, depending on how many sales you have made that month. Generally, this is how we pay commission, as opposed to paying $XX per appointment set - though we might be able to work something else out. You will be a contractor as opposed to an employee, and we will NOT withhold income taxes for you. You will be responsible for reporting and paying all taxes. You get to work from home. You can set your own schedule, so long as it's within a time frame (generally business hours) that we have given you. You'll need unlimited long distance (Skype is fine, costs around $2.50 per month) at your own expense. Cold calling and/or sales experience is very helpful, though not required if you have a sales-oriented personality.
