why r u saying like this?
You know what ppl show off themselves great whom they are not.

I have created this thread to get maximum ppl response about browsers, not for asking which is popular.
No doubt Mozilla is Godfather, i want response for IE an Chrome. They have been marketing their browsers at extreme level, ppl choose what they like.
You can see that google is second and IE is third, yet IE trump card is to be opened.Browser War will be going on...
    Lets see what happen,
if you dont have interest then please dont post here at this thread !
"i wonder if DP was available in 90's i would create Browser War - I :p,thx DP for such great forums"

I must admit that Google Chrome is uber fast when I've tried it for the first time but it's still BETA so any potentials are still hidden.

As of the moment, Firefox is by far the best browser I've ever used IMO.

Where is the Love for Opera?? Best browser ever. Only one I will ever use. I have all others installed for when I make websites, but out of the ones of offer, I like Googles Chrome the best as it is fast and easy to use, while Firefox 3 starts and runs slow.

Firefox is slow when we visit a particular website at first instance. After the caching the website it runs fast !
i dont why but firefox has a trend that none other browsers have.

Giving browser good look and having no special intelligence in it makes no sense using that browser :).

"i used IE till firefox came" :D

Web developers hate it. If you were a web developer, you would hate it, too. It holds back the web because it can't handle current technology such as XHTML served as true XHTML, SVG, CSS3 as well as current browsers (and IE8 won't be able to do many of those things either).

ALL other browsers are 10 years ahead of IE8 and it isn't even out yet (soon to be 11).

The reason IE works for you is because we web developers hack the code to force it to work like modern browsers do. If we didn't spend countless hours fixing IE, you would see how it bastardizes proper, modern markup.

IE8 will continue to be the worst browser on the planet.

I have seen many advantages when it comes to google chrome. Since it is in evolving stage so dont underestimate it. Google have big brains working behind their every project. I am sure they must be having brilliant ideas to change whole face of browsers. Like they did in initial stages of CHROME release which is coming with V8 javascript engines meant for fast browsing.

I have used numerous browsers available (to name a few: IE, FF, Opera, Flock, Chrome, Safari, Konqueror). So far Opera is my number one choice for a number of reasons I won't go into at the moment.

In my opinion IE will stay at the top of the market for a long time yet. People keep saying that IE is going to loose a big chunk of it's share to Chrome, but I really doubt it. The main reason people are using IE at the moment is because it came with their computer and they either don't care enough to upgrade or just simply don't know there is anything else (to a lot of people the IE logo means the internet).

If anything FF is going to loose a bigger %age of people to Chrome, FF users already know that there are other browsers out there. I am also assuming that google is going to stop backing FF and start backing their own browser. I already know about 10 people who were devoted FF users who have switched to using Chrome after testing it's beta.

I think that Opera will stay roughly where it is, maybe loose a bit. From my experience Opera users are pretty much devoted to Opera, they will defend it to death if needed.

The other browsers have such small %ages of the market anyway they arn't really worth a mention here.

I think Chrome will slot in either around the same %age share as FF or a little more. Given time of course.

i think FF doesnt prevent online viruses and FF is not secure with itself. but IE has lots of advantage to be with it.

You are right buddy but if you see stats then you will realize that chrome is doing much better job. Also, you should remember that mozilla in this business from quite long period. If you are fascinated with its addons then you think once again because addons are not being designed by mozilla....

I have tested all the web browser including opera and safari. But I think google's chrome is the best of them. Easy to use and very fast. I use Chrome for fast web browsing and firefox for commercial purpose...
