Google has reported its highest quarterly profit,
suggesting that the internet advertising market is bouncing back from the recession.

That's really great news. Google now that it has money should employ more people.

 

Google employees some of the smartest individuals in the world. They will continue to grow at phenomenal rates. None of this is surprising to me, but positive news is always good!

 

Anything related to earnings and advertising is good news, glad to see things patching up.

nobody gets rich by signing checks. Time for you dreamers to get real.
Air france saved a lot of money by removing an olive from each salad. That's how they think. If they decide to take off 1 cent of every click, they will earn a few extra millions.

 

I have to agree with you there – Google and banks seem to be the 1st to show that the darks are behind us!

Shows that the web can handle a rescission as said good news for us all

 

More money for creating those ever changing logo's on their home page

I know adwords is responsible for most of their profit, but I'd really like to see a breakdown of other revenues. I've tried searching for this, but haven't found anything yet.
