Can't agree more with you. I mean you always try and ask the seller the asking price and later negotiate or finalise the deal mutually.

 

Its really too much .... for any domain ... no one will pay that much

 

Look at the traffic stats go to compete.com or some other site like alexa, and do your homework before anything. If it is a domain with a lot of traffic, well if you know how to monetize the traffic going to it, then u can make double your investment in the first month possibly. It all depends on the numbers, you need to look into it, its a big gamble but you might be able to figure out how to play the numbers on your side also negotiate with him, thats the nature of business work him!
