Simple question, do you consider yourself a morning person or a night owl?

Where a morning person is, you know the type...let's just say they are a tad too "bouncy" when they first wake up. They are ready to engage you in conversation and are rather chipper....my mom was like that :p

I consider myself a mid-morning person but definitely not a "morning person". (Poll allows more than 1 vote)

Same here. I work better in the morning. Well I work late night when needed but mostly I prefer day work and waking up early keeps me fresh.

Hey 8everything, you are great. You can wake up at 2AM :). I wish I could do it. I could never go earlier than 3AM and that too very rare.

Me too, am a morning person. I do most of my work in the morning. I get a little lazy in the afternoon though but then take a cup of hot tea or coffee.

am a late riser! it takes time for me to wake up, so the morning is already over by the time a get up! anyways, i work best when i start, then slowly the quality and speed goes down:eek:
i take a walk round the park, in the evening, that makes me a lot fresh, and helps me to work with full dedication in the night!;)

I can only function in the morning if I have had at least two cups of strong coffee. Three if I was working late the night before, which I do regularly.

I'm about the same way. I don't NEED the coffee to get rolling but if I don't it just takes me that much longer to hit high gear :D

I prefer not to have any humanoid contact if possible though...Timmy needs his space when he gets up!!

Definitely not a morning person, When I have college I wake up at 8:30 AM but sundays and holidays 12:00 - 4:00 PM. I work late nights but right now I'm very very sleepy and can't even make another post (It's 1:36 AM here :S)

Morning is my most productive time. Evening also sees a resurgence of mental energy. But afternoons! — Forget it! I take my naps(s). We retired old guys have that privilege. :D

not to mention morning breath
granted, I've crossed paths with some who had questionable afternoon breath but still :D

one more reason why dusk is better than dawn, the color of the sunlight. they don't refer to dusk as the "golden hour" for nothin', it is the optimal time to take pictures :)
