£1000 to spend on marketing, what would you do?

Think this question might be leading somewhere but if it doesnt it's still an interesting question :)

If you were given £1000 to spend on marketing.. (It must be spent on marketing)

    1. What would you do with it?
    2. Where would you spend it?
    3. Do you have a proven track record in this field?
    4. How quickly would it be spent?
    5. What would you expect to return for the £1000?
    6. Do you want a £1000?
    7. Do you need a £1000?

If I were starting off, a website, host, auto responder whatever's essential to promote my product. If I had anything left, it would be for advertisements.

If it was for your market and that's all I had, then given the aquisition costs, I think I'd save my money, pack up and go home! ;)

    Okay, kidding:

    1. What would you do with it?
Use it do drive targeted traffic to my website.

    2. Where would you spend it?
On a form of direct offline marketing capable of generating huge volumes of online leads at a relatively low cost. Sorry can't give away much more than that on a public board.

    3. Do you have a proven track record in this field?
What field?? Marketing - Yes, Online Marketing - Yes, Financial Services - Yes... Oh wait I guess I just meant Yes!

    4. How quickly would it be spent?
A day or two, maybe less.

    5. What would you expect to return for the £1000?
To return? To whom - again if you mean to you then I guess an initial accepted lead volume of 10 based on your affiliate scheme.

    6. Do you want a £1000?
Of course, I always want money!

    7. Do you need a £1000?
It certainly wouldn't hurt. Need is subjective...I wouldn't die without it but it may help me to start a new project in a field I am not currently in (but have been previously)

    Lee,

You've posted this question in the affiliate marketing forum. Any particular reason for this?

Good question, yes there is a reason and I believe thepirate may have got it :)

I am considering offering £1000 possibly more to one or two select affiliates to help/aid their progresion into the debt management/iva lead generation industry.

These are peak times and the rewards are high for dedicated affiliates.

I currently run a very good affiliate program and have done for 6 months now. We have a lot of members but few in my opinion are not performing aswell as they could be, although special offers seem to be working but take time. I am interested in affiliates opinions on such an idea.

The affiliate would have to have a proven track record with lead generation in any field/industry.

There you go!! Use the 1000 quid to run a mind-blowing promo that would not only stimulate your stagnant (or slow) affiliates, but also motivate new ones to join your program.

I would send targeted traffic to a squeeze page and collect as many quality optin leads as I could.

take that money, and use it to help a bunch of honest up and coming affiliate sales people to get their sites working, that way more people can be free from being a slave to the dollar rather than myself :)

I would help set people free so that they can pursue the greater things in life

    with £1000 = $2029 USD

    I would make every $2 into $7.50 = $5.50 profit

    its about $5,300 = £2 611.4

all this in less than a month..

    %100 guarantee =]

Well creb and others, sorry I haven't visited in a while, I find this forum a bit too fast for me I don't have as much time these days. :)

I am very active on a couple of the other affiliate forums....

If you want it and you can prove you can do it then it's yours. I have lots of affiliates earning well over £1000 every month and myself, Michael and Sam are here to help you every step of the way.

We began as affiliates and still consider this to be our aim.
We have each been very heavily involved in SEO/PPC for years and through the affiliate program we work closely with each and every keen affiliate.

I regularly offer bespoke prizes/bonuses for best performers once they prove they are worth it.

Good luck and I look forward to working with anyone serious enough to join. (Any questions please ask)

    Regards
    Lee
