Hi I would appreciate some insight into this question. I am currently ranking #3 on a keyword that is £10.54 per click on adwords which gets 60,000 searches a month on Google UK. Does Adsense take into account the high cost per click when giving commission for displaying their ads? How much could I expect to receive per click for such a high paying keyword? Thanks Steve
It all depends on the quality of the traffic you're delivering; if you're selling high-converting traffic then you will receive a high payout. If your traffic is junk and results in zero conversions for the advertiser, you'll get little per click.
Hi Steve, As you're ranking #3 for that term why don't you put Adsense on your pages and test it for yourself? Then you'll know..........actually you're the best person to ask because you're the one ranking for the term. Go test it. Dean
adsense shares about 80% of the revenue with its publishers. however, £10.54 per click as you see is not a solid number and the cost per click for adwords advertisers can be as low as one-third of what you are seeing now based on their account history with adwords, impression, CTR, and QS (quality score). there are lot of factors come into play when deciding the real cost per click for the adowrds advertisers and adsense publishers get a set portion based on what advertisers pay for that click
Why would you waste your valuable traffic on adsense? The worst thing you can do is to place adsense on such a lucrative keyword, as you see advertisers are bidding really high on it. Get a good converting CPA offer instead.
it's right just go on and try Adsense on your website. if you are getting this much huge traffic from google than you must be get huge money from adsense. but try to place adsense on good places which goes infront of viewers like above the fold.
I think he is right , advertisers always track how much visitors are converting and how many run away from the given links . If you give them sales than they will also make you happy .
