    Hi all,

    I am so totally new to internet marketing! But I have been told this is the place to be, so here I am. Hands up - I am as green as they come, but I have just started climbing the learning curve...

    I am a Spanish teacher (hence the title tomfoolery :)) and looking to take my a large chunk of my business online. So I guess you'll be hearing more from me in the near future ;)

    Welcome! I'm probably as green or verde as you are. I'm also bilingual (Spanish). I had never considered what an advantage this could be until I learned about internet marketing. There are so many niches out there without any quality Spanish representation. It's like a wide open door to opportunity :)

    I have a few ideas and am researching them. I think the reason I've had so many bumps in the road is because I just go off on a whim. Like, I'll invest all this time, money, and effort in a site without even checking if it would be profitable. I had my light bulb moment thanks to my mom who loves to surf the net and shop online but has trouble because although she knows English her brain works in Spanish, if that make sense. So, I'm thinking, how many people are in her position right now? Millions. Look at cell phones for example. You Google cell phones and you get Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Wirefly, etc. Google celulares and the top ranking site is a sub category of a messy looking general shopping site without any quality SEO and maybe 1 backlink. Not that I'm going for that necessarily, but it is just one of the many examples.
