There is a website that keeps harrassing

I made a comment about about them on a forum and they haven't left us alone. They keep coming to my friend's forum and keeps making fake accounts and spamming pictures of boo from mario. At first they were just a minor pain, maybe one or two vandals would sneak in and vandalize the forum during night time, but now they waves of them come, like 30 - 40 at one time. We blocked registrations temporarily, but somehow they have managed to break in. We are using vBulletin. Even if we ban the IP address, they easily bypass it. They are virtually unstoppable. I tried googling them to see if I can find any info but nothing shows up. All they would do is spam in everythread a link back to their site (which has nothing on there) and some picture from mario.

Is there anyway I can stop these people, because I know if we allow registrations again, they will keep spamming and vandalizing. I asked in a forum before if what they are doing is illegal, but people said that spamming is not illegal.

a) I'd remove the live link so they don't find your a** here talking trash about them, (though your problem is not trash).

lol - Where are you server located and under which domain (.com, .co.uk etc) If one of them happens to be a UK ip, report it to their ISP as it is illegal over here. Just PM'd you with info that might be useful, for everyone else:

Their IP is based in Australia apparently. No updates so far, I am trying to contact them but they dont reply back, Their website has nothing either. and even if I take down the site, they will just come back.

I got spammed by this company called MGR, their IP was from the USA, not sure on the exact site, but the government ran it that helped me, I will try to look for it again, it happened like 5 years ago though.

but all I had to do, is send the site, my Full Name, and my IP Address, they went to my internet provider, and blocked EVERYTING, from their Internet provider, 2 weeks later, I receive an apology from MGR and an e-mail from them saying they will have to close down, along with $ 600.00 USD, for the damages, caused, which helped pay for my hosting company, that unbanned me.
I got a company to stop bothering me, in the USA, but Austrailia, not sure.
