Wow, this December is a shock!
PPC went from $0.11 to $0.02, sometimes even as low as $0.01.

    Anybody else feeling this?
I guess all of these is because of Christmas, what do you think?

Probably Christmas, because now people surf the net a lot, clicking ads and all that. Google gets paid the same from advertisers and publishers get paid less while Google makes the same or even more money as before. What can you do though, that's business.

Shouldn't Christmas season be the best performing since lots of advertisers will be slugging it out for ad placement?

Dude this is what i thought, but then i thought again, people are broke from buying gifts etc for family.

But then i thought again, what about those big companies like walmart, canadian tire, why arent they bidding highest to get some sales for christmas!

I agree keywords she be sky rocketing high in certain keywords , like gifts.

Yup, logically speaking this should be the case since people will be looking to buy Christmas gifts online.

December 2006 was my second best month ever. This year it has dropped. My guess is that economy is starting to tank.

unless your niche is holiday proof, you shouldn't be too surprised. most advertisers typically reduce ad spend this time of year unless they're part of the xmas machine in some way. the pot of gold at the end of the snow covered driveway is the huge spike in traffic, adspend and revenue after the holiday hubub has subsided.
