I can't work out what search term they show for. I've tried my domain name in various combos, my main keywords etc and can't find it.

    Anyone else struck this?

I need an idea of what keywords you use to run the test.

I've got the same, I guess they have rolled them out in google webmasters before going live, or perhaps they only show on certain regional google sites

It has to be on of your "Top Searched Queries" in Google Webmasters Central, and it has to be in the "Top Clicked Queries" section. If it's NOT any of those then the sitelinks have either disappeared already or haven't appeared yet.

Yea, looks like all sites are seeing them in webmaster central. I'd say ignore it for now. We're all not getting sitelinks :)

Unless we all have sitelinks displayed but they aren't live in the search engine unless some situation is met :)

I think Cianuro is right - its a glitch in the system.
I was checking my webmasters account a few hours ago, and had none. Now it is showing me that I have 8 of them. ( I only wish I did ). Gonna grab a screenshot though, and frame it. I will look nice above my desk, and get me working even harder next year, to have them for real.

Hmm interesting, i asked Matt Cutts if the limiting of sub-domains in the new algo change would mean more site get sitelinks but havn't heard anything yet.

Maybe my hunch was correct, they are going to roll out more sitelinks for a query of your domain name but it just hasn't gone live yet.

Sweet, I ment to ask, how do you rank with the SEO term on Google, I'm to lazy to check, and does it bring decent traffic?

If you don't mind sharing :D

For "SEO" i'm #18 at the moment although i havn't been working on it for quite a while because i have too much work already.

Traffic, well being in #18 for "SEO" brings quite a bit more traffic than being top 5 for "SEO Company" surprisingly. Although i think alot of the traffic for SEO is other SEO's scoping out others lol.

Actually, maybe it isn't a glitch after all.

I have about 20 sites in my webmasters account at Google, and several of my large portal sites are all showing sitelinks, whereas some of my smaller individual sites aren't showing any.

Hmmmmm - lets see what happens with these. Would make a nice Christmas present from Google if some of my sites did get sitelinks.

just noticed that i got them on one site, and i also don't see them on google.
i would asume if you really had them, you would see them just by typing in the name of your site. ;)

why was this thread moved to Reviews?

No idea when it's about a glitch in Google webmaster tools reporting sitelinks, but anyhow.. I guess we can always review Webmaster Tools.

I'm currently showing 2 Sitelinks 'pending' on Google Webmaster Tools.

    I imagine they'll come on-line soon...
