    yeah yahoo and msn already gave their users' datas to the US government. what if google does the same???

    If Google tries to control P2P, and the ability for people to get things for free, it isn't going to work, because I won't buy whatever alternative they have, unless it is better than whats already available.

    I think it's absurd, but let's be realistic. Y & MSN gave anonymous data to the US government. Google is talking about indexing my word and excel files. From a privacy standpoint, I'd rather give the government anonymous usage data than turn over all my files to Google.

    I wouldnt get too worked up about this. Google isnt about to ruin their business by making all its users afraid to use their service.
