all the world seems to get addicted to the google thing LOL
a new partnership has been made between godaddy and google which enables godaddy users to access directly to google webmaster tools the best part of this is that godaddy will automatically generate sitemaps for their users and submit it to google

so godaddy users will get their sites' sitemaps submitted automatically !!!:p

Thats good service offer from GoDaddy. I have used hosting from GoDaddy previously for several sites. Always been happy with them.

I started to switch to GoDaddy.. I was paying $14 per year with BuyDomains (now DomainDiscover). But as soon as I went to unlock and switch over, BuyDomains offered to make it $9 per year per domain if I stayed with them, so I did. I figured the remaining diff in price ($1 or $2 per domain) would not have been worth the hassle to switch.

Is this availible for people with just domain names, or do you have to have hosting.

Sounds cool, especially the site map bit.

Yeah they will probably sell domains to Google to compete with Yahoo.

I would think you would need to have hosting since they are probably going to tie the sitemap with your hosting account and not your domain. Besides with it being GoDaddy they will find a way to force you to use their services to get a certain feature to work.

I have been with GoDaddy for a few years and have no complaints. They have awesome support and good prices for domains and hosting. The only disadvantage they have is bandwidth. Hostgator has more bandwidth. I will keep my domains with them, because they have a lot better domain management than other hosting company I know of.

Yea, what I'm wondering is if these new Google services with Godaddy will actually be free. I use Godaddy, but I have noticed that ANYTHING extra you have to pay for. They give you sh*tty tools and extras, but if you really want the good ones, you have to pay for it. But, then again, Google is all about free, so who knows....

Especially their email. They nickel and dime you with email. Do you want to have more than 10 MB? Then we have to charge you more money. Do you want to forward email? We have to charge even more for that. Do you want to use email relay? We have to charge you if you send more than 250 per day for that service.

And that is just email. They claim to offer free services with domain purchases, but those are usually ad supported in some way.
