What do you think of the new option YPN added on paying publishers via paypal. Are you going to change to paypal now?

Nice option but I'll stick with DD for now.

I hate PayPal. Too much scamming going around for me to use it.

I'm a fan because of the $50 payout. When I start earning $100 every month I'll likely switch back to direct deposit.

Its not a bad option, except that you don't get all the money...paypal will keep some.

Yes, that's the point. Why i should pay paypal fees when I can get DD?
There is no real benefit to US publishers.
Sounds more a move before opening to some other countries to me.

    Thats worst decision!

With so many VCC there is no way to ban someone from YPN

Person gonna cheat on yahoo and when get banned register another pp and fake ID nd new ypn account and activate and varify pp with vcc
    .

    that sucks completly!

I think it is a nice idea, i do remember a while back when some one opened a thread telling people to suggest to ypn to use paypal and looks like ypn took the suggestions and did what customers wanted.

Most big advertising companies pay the paypal fee for you. I'm assuming Yahoo will too.

But I'm sticking with DD. Why add a middle man to the process of me getting my money?

It seems there is some confusion here, Paypal will not charge any fee at all when YPN deposits your money in your paypal account.

I doubt yahoo would do that....there are publishers that make lots of money, and paypal charges on a percentage. It would just result in YPN loosing more money.

I am wondering why the move to deposit if you have only made 50$....that tells me that either publishers are making less, or that YPN is scrapping the big money publishers, or both.

PayPal does not take a percentage for every activity you do. For instance, you can deposit and withdraw money into your bank account for free. I'm sure YPN has a deal with PayPal that it is a free transaction.

Paypal does take some $$...I have several subscriptions, and when money is transferred into my account, I get a charge. Yes, I can transfer to my bank account for free...but if paypal did everything for free, how would they make money?

I'm pretty sure that Yahoo will pay the fees for the payments. That's how it works with several smaller other companies that I use.
