After hanging out in the forum for a while it's obvious there are some who make mucho bucks and other who don't. It occured to me that I have not seen anyone mention how much they have to "work" to get the dollars they make so I thought it might make an interesting poll. So, broken into 2hr increments, how many hours do you spend in front of your computer -- per day. This does not include "real day jobs" or contract work but on your own sites, generating (or attempting to generate) adsense revenue, sell product etc. Of course if you post you can note all the other time you spend staring at the screen Hope this is interesting...
These last weeks have been crazy... I've been involved in several projects that are using up all my time so I am spending 13 hours each day working, I eat some pizza or similar stuff with one hand and continue working with the other one... But it will be worth it when money starts rolling in
Hmm? I ever crazy like you fryman about 15hrs in that day 7.00am to 20.00pm with no lunch (I've breakfast at 6.30 AM) and spend in dinner about 20 min
I spend about 10 a day and this is my full time job. Running a webhosting business and building all these sites does take up time.
I dont know. I keep my computer on all the time and when im at home it always attracts me with msn messengaer *blap* noises. Most of my friends have msn so we try not to waste our credit. If im working on the website i can sit here until its done or at least attempt to.
At least 12, somedays if it's a bad day something goes wrong I've been known to stay up non stop on a computer for 2-3 days straight, but I'm sure some of you've been there. Lately though I'm spending much more time not working and much more time just browsing DP and other sites. Think I'm getting burned out at it to tell you the truth, plus shitty net connection pisses me off so much when I'm working I've just almost given up lately. But my sites continue to make me a very good source of income and actually for the most part still are on the climb
Exactly same thing here, they don't like all the time spent on a computer but never appear to complain that they don't have to work themselves, or that they get to spend a portion of the profits go figure.
Oh how true. I am sure that this happens to both genders that are spending alot of time on the computer making their living. So it is a difficult balancing act.
