Does anyone know the highest payong keywords on adsense. I know that google doesn't tell you the highest paying keywords, but does anybody know by experience what the highest paying keywords are?

Medical keywords - that's for sure. Take a look at the mesothelioma thread.

From the web site mentioned -" TopPayingKeywords.com’s database of the top 15,000+ priced keywords is updated quarterly (last update: July 2004). The price for the database is $199 and it is delivered as an Excel file."

Should we all get together, split the cost and share the list. :)

On a serious note - where would this company get this info?

A list like that would be obsolete in short order - what people are willing to pay for clicks changes constantly.

The url posted here at www.affiliatehurricane.com/topkey.html must be an affiliate entrance to the source site at: http://www.toppayingkeywords.com/

GFC - your right re the constant changing but still info like that would provide a generally predictible range.
A search click for mesothelioma isn't going to change radically from 1 dollar a click to .03 cents a click overnight.

Again I'm interested in where the source of this info is from. Tons of SEOs want this info so how come this site proposes that it has the inside track to the most valuable info in the internet world?

value of a keyword is primarily determined by the value of a deal. Keywords in legal, financial (mortgage, hard money lenders and etc) are likely high-paying keywords. brainstorming a list of keywords and verify them with overture bid tool.

There's a bunch of free tools out there that can help you gauge the cost/payout of a keyword too. Selling a compiled listing of this info for $199 seems like a rip off to me. I could get the same info (as could anyone else) for free with about 15 minutes of research.

I have seen drastic shifts in payouts as well. All it takes is for the top advertiser to drop his/her campaign or for them to lower their bid amount dramatically. This can quickly reduce payouts from dollars to pennies.

Wouldn't it be a better idea to try find optimal keywords which have a large popularity (targetted traffic) and a reasonable Cost Per Click rather than very expensive keywords which (mostly) have very little interest value.

    Just a thought.

I think he'd keep his new $200 list to himself and sell it to the non-savvy less motivated people..

    All the same.

If 10 of us got together and split the data $20 each it would save a lot of leg work!
