Drop in Keyword Ranking in Google

Hi,

Today, when I am checking keyword ranking for our clients, I am shocked! There are significant drop in many keyword's ranking. When I checked before 1 week, they are on the first 2 pages of Google. But today I doesn't found it in top 10 pages(100 ranking).

anyone facing the same problem? I have also checked the Google data center & found that some of the data center ips are not working properly or changed. Is this reason for the drop?

OR any update are going or any algorithm updated by Google?

Kindly suggest me.

 

It will have nothing to do with data centres.

Unless you provide the url and the keywords that you've been ranking for, there's no way we can help.

 

It's the new google update......... my websites traffic got down at least 2 times...

 

Maybe you are victimized by Google dance. Though, there are other reasons why your keywords are massively down. One of that is the way on how you link build your site. Keep on quality posting and relevant posting when it comes in link building. Don't just put links or bombard links for fastest way of ranking your keywords. Make sure that you do in quality not in quantity.

 

you need quality back links as well as markering strategy. May this help to improve your ranking.

 

I also encountered the same weird drop of keywords. I usually have stable serps rankings, not until I checked the SERPs today.. So far no clear explanation for this weird serps activity, but somehow, I got this article about the possible update from Google:

big changes in the last month... i must admit i have been falling behind in what's 'new' and current with google , but this graph of the last months impressions will give you some idea of how recent changes affect me ..


What's even more alarming ? this site im talking about today is ranking higher on words i havn't optimised for .... in fact , its ranking for words and phrases that actualy have little to do with my site.. while words and phrases that actually match my sites content are falling in position sometimes falling further than page 10 !

i really hope this problem is realised soon by google techs.

Actually we are not working aggressively on these sites. We are just doing monthly SEO activities like Social Bookmarking, Directory Submission and Forum Posting ( only on quality sites which we have used for all over clients). If those sites are considered as SPAM by Google. All our clients should be affected. But that is not the case. Only 3-4 client's ranking is affected. So I don't thing its a case of bad Backlinks.

I also suffering from same keywords dropping encountered From Google. I have check my sites ranking at last night, at that time I also Shocked...!!!

I lost Keywords of My three sites related to Computers and Programming Related. Our sites performing well before this time (Means last 2 years).

What happening with US don't know what google is doing, It's google planning to stop SEO or any others?

Please Guys suggest me what we should do for that?

We always use quality sites for submission. We use social bookmarking sites with Page Rank of more than 3. And forum sites with more than 4 PR. Those high PR suggest us that they are quality sites. So thats not the problem.

 

Yes, this could be one of the cause.
