    I checked the page you posted. I hope it will not be implemented at all. Google Labs is known to value both their employees and users by giving the opportunity to place creative minds on this lab while users will be able to help progress the experiment by testing it. If Google Labs will be shut down, then users will only know what's new in Google world once it has been launched or news are delivered. I just hope they would still make users participate on their future projects/experiments. Google labs is one of the things I love in Google. :(

    Probably, there are just not enough patronage of those services making it less important and being de-prioritized by Google.

    i don't think its possible. and if they are going to shut it down then must be planning to establish one greater that that :). cause its Google :)

    Almost sad to see it go. There were some good things to come out of that Labs initiative...

    Still, it might have widened the focus of what Google was set out to do in the first place - organze the web for us :)

    I was hoping that "it should be rumor", but it is true may be Google is thinking about services or product which will be more acceptable by user.
