The first IP didn't work but the second one is showing majorly different results for the link: command!!! Main page went down in links, inner page went up

Looks like an update. My guess is this time PR will update and Googlebot will resume crawling the many sites which have been bot'less for the last 4 days

BLs are updating here, too. but it is the same strange selection of back links from the previous update. high PR BLs are not showing at all. however, site intern links are increasing.

Wonder why no PageRank update still... been 6 weeks since the last PR update, and it looks like this update doesn't have new PR either.

Is it me or does it seem like the backlinks are updating slower than usual?

Talking about PR, my Google toolbar has quit reporting PR for any site. Does anybody know how to uninstall this thing. I'd like to do a fresh install and see if that fixes the problem.

Your right, it is there. But if you click on the Google logo on the toolbar and look under "help" you will find an "uninstall" option there also.

I dunno. Unless I am mistaken, one of the sites which I decommissioned and 301'd about four months ago just went from PR0 to PR5. :D

Yep changes ahead, for BL's anyway.

Unfortunately, I have lost some of my links, think they will probably be forum links so not too bothered.

Is anyone getting new links included in this update? I've had loads of new links good PR sites and none of them are up there, also Bluefind directory which I have had a link from for a while now isnt included, anyone else not had bluefind listing now included as a BL?

The link: command is just about useless. When Google encounters a new link the results show in the SERPs within 48 hours. GoogleGuy said as much on another forum a few months back, that the display of PR and backlinks is not linked to the actual SERPs, which update continuously.

PR does have a significance though -- if you're selling text links!

I definitely don't buy that the results show within 48 hours. I've had plenty of incoming links show up on cached pages but see no impact in the SERPS until a few days before a major update.

Again, saw drop in number of back links for my sites. The higher PR links are still nowhere to be found

    No change in PR, though.

Lost about 800 backlinks on my main site...
(Not able to check the PR, at work now..)

But it looks like almost all of them were internal ones anyway, gained a lot of new external..

Anyone else seeing a drop of internal backlinks too??
