This was expected. It is a way all companies use when they want to suspend other companies products from being used by their own employees.
Now later google will implement its own OS to all google employees. Its a strategy used by all companies to have a smooth handover.

but bad news for Microsoft i guess lol

In retaliation, I would not be surprised if MS orders its employees... to not use 'google' for search... anymore! :p

I could see them switching to Linux OS but MAC I'd be very surprised if Google was to switch completely to MAC OS computers for their programming.

Is Google getting a little power hungry? First blacklisting BMW's site from search just a couple weeks ago and now pushing off Windows like it's a bad OS?

Google is doing 10x less then Apple is or MSFT ever did in terms of power hunger. Google is preparing the company for Google Chrome OS

Uh, that was four years ago for using trick methods to boost page rank; something everyone knows not to do.
It IS a bad OS and, if you read the article, would have known it was for security reasons.

This is what many peoples expected including me. However, I do really has a doubt if Google's OS, both Chrome or Android could come over Windows series so easily for now. Windows has been developed for years, even it has a bug and needed minor updates for every few days until now, but still a well known and most secure OS for "regular users". I did not say Windows is the safest OS to use but it is the best bet for non technical type person, non geek anyway.

If Google OS has more well known, they would have been hacked and penetrated not differently as Windows has before from coders around the globe. That's why I have a doubt with Google and the way they are dumping Windows.

Have anyone read the reply from MS?

    http://windowsteamblog.com/windows/...and-security-setting-the-record-straight.aspx

They even accuse Financial Times of bad journalism lol :p

Love when he says: "Windows 7 comes with Internet Explorer 8 which includes SmartScreen Filter which has proven its success time and time again. " Great congrats for pack up with the worst available browser

Anyway to people saying because of Chrome OS this will only be released first to notebooks so will take some time till Google can give him self the proud of run all their pc's with their own OS

Let's wait and see if it can compete with Windows, I would that they have the resources so it would be close but not that stable at first.
