I highly recommend using valuate.com as it provides efficient and accurate automated appraisals.

I am not associated with valuate.com in any way.

Same rubbish as all the other automatic appraisal sites.

The only thing those sites achieve is they make domain owners feel good about their domains, and in some cases make them spend money on advertising / auction listings, actually thinking that someone will buy their domain at the price the appraisal quoted.

There is NO WAY ON EARTH an automated appraisal service can provide a figure that is even close to accurate (unless it's a coincidence). Period.

What bryanon says. These automated valuation sites are a load of horse manure. There are far too many soft and subjective factors that go into a domain name's value. I can have a site that gets 10 hits a day but sells millions of dollars worth of services. Or one that gets millions of hits as a result of really bad press that has tainted the name forever.

Automated valuation services leave much to be desired. For instance:

    GUITARS.NET
    Valuate.com says $61,000.
The actual sales price last week at Rick Latona auctions was $18,250

I also note that the "automated" part of Valuate doesn't really apply all that much.
For instance, take any Top 10 or 20 domain sales of the last few weeks that were reported at DNJournal.com, and you'll see that, for the most part, Valuate gives an appraisal of almost the EXACT amount it sold for.

    Huh!

Either Valuate is really good with their "automated" system, or they just record published sales and round off the amounts.

If you want to use them, go ahead. If you're asking my opinion, automated appraisal systems are not that accurate.

IMHO, 99% of the times, these tools give irrelevant and bad results, try putting in 770.com 660.com 550.com and see the values it gives you... the algorithims can never be perfect and even if they were, a fixed price simply can't be calculated, its what someone is willing to pay, not what its worth.

It's all a waste of time. Automated appraisals are nothing but fake values and a monopoly of domain age and so called backlinks the MOD reads...

It only gives you the rough idea, matching certain criteria on the algorithm. It may be useful, but manual investigation is equally important.

I do not want someone gets offended, but automated appraisals is not something you can rely on.
The price of the domain name as high as someone ready to by it

They do work with EstiBot, so I am sure they are just pulling data from previous sales.

cubestat.com is more fun than this. Plus it gives you details about how many pages are indexed and so on.
