How to know if site is banned in yahoo

    I have a site which is up since 6 months now but has'nt yet got indexed in yahoo. The site explorer shows 2 inlinks but no indexed pages for my site. Can it be that my site is banned in yahoo? If not, what can be done to get it indexed?

    it is probably indexed, the siteeplorer isnt very good
    try removing the www. prefix then press search
    then try adding it back, then press search again

    You can see wether your ip address is banned or not.But what I will suggest is to move your website to new mysql database.This will remove the old ip and will give you new one.This will surely help you.

    If you're account does not existing anymore and you have to make an account again to try to do something new to be indexed again.

    That does not help as well. Only the inlinks shows a increase to around 900. I dont get a single visit from yahoo so obviously its not indexed.

    do a yahoo search yourdomain.com if it doesn't show as the 1st result its banned or not indexed....it will still show pages if you use site:yourdomain.com even if it is banned!

    This is the first time I'm hearing about Yahoo banned site.
    What is the domain age of your site??
    perhaps your site may be a new. Yahoo may take sometime please wait for a while.

    if you want get visit from yahoo.may be need promote your site on yahoo.

    If you search for the URL of your website in Yahoo yet no result appears, It was banned from yahoo. (provided that it was indexed already before in Yahoo.)

    My site is online for about 6 months now but not yet indexed by yahoo. My site has good no. of links and is also linked to by sites which are already in yahoo index.

    Have you created site map...? Try to submit your site on yahoo. Build more backlinks and wait yahoo will give positive response.

    Search the URL in Yahoo. If it comes up, it's not deindexed. Same for google.
