    Hi All DP members,

Today I have noticed that, few of my website gets higher position while most of other website get down searching same keywords.

Have any of your website get affected in Search Result positioning.

    Hello...

Yes ive noticed that 1 off our directories now sits on the

    #1 spot in google :D
    #1 spot in yahoo :)
    #1 in MSN
    #1 in ASK

And for some "very" high ranked keywords with 750 million results

Maybe they all did a update?

Google updates the search engine results pages (SERPs) every day. I have dozens of kewords that change in Google's ranking every day. Expect it daily, there's nothing new about it.

Having said that if your rankings have gone up I congratulate you - just be expecting daily fluctuations -although they should only be small

SERPS is key, so if it is fluctuating in the right direction, then good luck to you.

Unfortunately, I took a huge hit on my main site going from on avg. 1500 uniques /day to 3-400. I havent even looked at my less profitable sites. (No PR change)

The only good news is that I have dropped from my perch atop google before.Several days later it comes back to the Top 10. I have a funny feeling this time though. This may spell trouble. Any advice on how reclaim my positioning?

    thx

Based on what I am seeing, this is a temporary change. Don't expect it to last - so enjoy it for those of whose rankings have seen a dramatic increase.

IMO, its updating each and every moment. I have found many a time that for the same keywords websites ranking gets up and down. And its normal because of various data center results this is happening.
