Thats definitely a nice feature to have, especially when looking for newer information.

I've never noticed this before but I'll definitely keep an eye out for it in the future. Thanks for pointing it out.

Have you noticed that some of your forum pages, contain a last updated notation, and other don't. I do.

Both pages are popular sections, long ago indexed by Google and both constantly re-spidered by all the major engines. I wonder what the difference is?

Yes. The SE now provides more information about the forum. If you want to spend time in a community which members are active on daily basis then it is better to see this in search results instead of loosing time to browse it.

I'd be happier when they stop putting Wikipedia in the top 10 results all the time. Although i like Wikipedia, it is kinda annoying to see it on top all the time.

    It's still there for me.

I see these types of things on some results.
Lots of crap useless info in some cases. They should only provide the data that maybe useful to searchers. Who cares if hangus1x08 edited his useless post six times, 3 days after he posted it.
