I think everyones real question is Sarah is when do you think our earnings will return to normal and is Yahoo going to do anything about this at the end of the month?

    Thanks,

    Kevin

    Gamma,

You're right. Can't really argue with you on this one, so all we can do is learn from our shortcomings.

We're going to post alerts directly in our portal from now on so we can notify all of our beta publishers as soon as we detect any system issues that might impact performance. I know this isn't going to offer much comfort today, but I hope it will make things easier in the future.

don't lump me in with this weak and unprofessional attitude problem... next time, take your whining over to ypn tech support directly, instead of doing it out here on a public forum.

i've never seen asa admit to much of anything, and i do appreciate the feedback from ypn on this issue, on this forum.

    Sarah,

Thanks again for coming back and keeping us informed. Is there any way you could tell us if the drops in payout per click were supposed to happen - and will continue, or will they return to what they were?

Over the last 3 days I've recieved more traffic and made about 30% of what I usually do with less traffic. I completely understand this is a BETA program but it would be nice to know what it is they are working to improve (ad relevence, higher paying ads showing up, payout per click, etc) so we know our problem is the same as the one they are fixing.

    Thanks

Are we going to get a money dump, because you keep ignoring the question. I'm sure the advertisers on my site aren't paying the $0.10 per click I got, ubt rather the usual $5+/click. It'd be nice to have the money back, and yes I consider it mine.

Well I've noticed almost the same amount today before the problems have started so maybe Yahoo is fixing there systems.

I've just logged into my account and saw this message:

Last Friday, the YPN beta team launched some new code into production. Several complications occurred during the launch, and as a result, overall system performance was impaired. We've stabilized the situation now and expect to continue to make improvements over the next few days.

We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your continued support as we refine our beta program

    Hopefully this helps ;)

    All,

Just want to clarify a couple of things here. First and foremost, please know that this is absolutely not a result of a change in payout structure. Advertisers did not pay the same amount as usual per click -- the code launch I mentioned earlier today affected advertiser CPCs, so the earnings you've seen are based on what advertisers were actually charged by Yahoo!.

Many of you have already seen improvements today, and should continue to see more improvements over the next 1-2 days. We expect the systems to be fully stabilized and upgraded by Wednesday.

Hope this is helpful - thanks again for your patience.

This is why I love YPN, they stop in and let us know what is going on. Even though an email would have been nice! :)

Still waiting to see better results though......
