    Hi, everyone,

    I have a fledgling forum at http://DublinMarathon.net/, and as you can see, I need a logo for the template.

    The forum is about the Dublin Marathon, as the name suggests, and so the logo should be running themed and/or Dublin, Ireland, themed. A runner, and the spire (google Dublin Spire) may be good elements, but I'll consider almost anything.

    As it is replacing a logo in a current theme, it has to replace this file, and still be continuous when on the site, if you understand me. This means the image size and edges of the file cannot be altered.

    I'm afraid I need this very quickly, so 24 hours would be preferable, 48 at a maximum.

    Now, the good bit, money:
    Best design - $30 (+$10 if in within 24 hours - ie, 5pm GMT Sat 06/12/08)
    Second Best - $10

    I'll pay the winner and runner-up by Paypal. I'm afraid Paypal is the only way I can pay, unless you live in Dublin and want cash. :D

    edit: I guess I should say I'd like the title to be Dublin Marathon Forum!

    Hey, these are very good. Here's my feedback:

    @anidesign: I like it, very simple, but I'd also like the word "forum" in there, please. Also, does the background match the sample.
    @watari: It's a good design, but I'm afraid I don't think it fits with the theme. Thank you though.
    @Pixobox: It's also quite good, but it's not the style I'm looking for. Thank you, all the same.
    @F33l1ngz: Thanks for the entry, butI'm afraid it's too simple, and I don't think the font fits the theme.
    @starrberi: This is a very good entry. You are currently the favourite!

    Thanks to everyone for entering, I appreciate all your efforts. As I said, starrberi's entry currently is the favourite. I'll let this run until 5pm Irish time, or 9am forum time tomorrow.

    Hi, it seems I'm spoilt for choice.
    @stealthGFX: Although I like the font, I'm afraid I just don't like the look. Thank you, though, for the entry.
    @Anasone: Again, I don't think it fits the theme. Thank you, anyway.
    @watari: If you could replace the building silhouetted in the background with the Dublin spire, we'd have a new favourite. (edit: I mean replacing it with the spire silhouetted in the same style - thanks!)
    @anidesign: I quite like the first one, although I'm afraid I'm really taken with the logos by starrberi and, now, watari.

    @watari: This is the favourite now! (Sorry, starrberi!) I hate to nitpick, but could you make the spire silhouette thinner, to match the real thing. http://www.procedureman.com/uploaded_images/pan_spire-743969.jpg.

    @evolva: Sorry, it's just doesn't fit the theme, I'm afraid. The graphic seems more geared towards swimming, in fact. I appreciate the entry, though, thanks!
