    Hello.
    im on my way to start 2 directories. One general and one only for blogs.

    The general directory im using phpld but im not sure what im going to use for my blogdirectory.

    Does anyone have any tips for a good script to use as a blog directory ?

    I think that directories can be profitable — but only in the event that you are prepared to make the investment of time and money to ensure their success.

    Why you don't use both with phpld, one with the paid version and one with the free version which phpld v2+.

    Well i didnt say that my directories should be profitable :)
    But i really need something to do with all of my time.

    Im goind to use phpld paid version for both sites i think.

    i use phpld on 3 Websites and it still very popular a lot of traffick on my site

    the list of free mods for ld are over 170 mods

    on my site we add 38 mods

    you need to have a minimum 6 hours a week

    I find my directories to be quite profitable once you get their page rank up, people are interested in whole of site links.

    For a script, phpld paid version is a clear winner for me.

    Phpld with mods is no problem i have used it for a couple of years with diffrent mods.

    Use phpld and add some mods to tailor it for the blogosphere. I've added mods to submit the feed url and a wordcloud to my blog directory.

    I use PHPLD 3, it's much better than the free version, but of course costs money. Depends on how long you plan to keep it it I guess.
