I have been trying to market toward women, and recently I added an online quote and scheduling tool. I am looking for some feedback on what you like and don't like about it. The site is http://www.cleanarizona.com are a small business in the Phoenix, AZ area. We do carpet cleaning, tile and grout cleaning, as well as upholstery.
I'm a guy, but I'm also an advertiser and web consultant on how to sell to the public, and I think that is one of the better sites I have seen in quite awhile. Pictures, colors, it's clean, nice layout.... A couple of things, though, after they get their quote, that's all thye get, is the quote. Perhaps you should think about selling them a bit more on that page, in case they are ify about wanting to call you, or whatever. Maybe put in before and after pictures of a dirty carpet??? Also, and you may not believe this, but many may not click on those links you have on your first page, simply becasue they do not look like links. Maybe repeat them again on the second page too, but do not have a scroll bar??? Nice site, brother.
It looks clean. My only point would be that there is very little actual content on the webpage. This makes it hard for search engines to associate your website with anything. Also I had some 404 errors too.
Your site is too simple. Try to redesign it to make it more attractive and consumer doesn't like 404 error.
Seeing that your business targets the local market, I think it's a great idea to prominently display your phone number in the logo. You can also consider linking the logo to the home page - I don't know about other people, but I've come to find it more convenient to just click on a logo to go to the main page rather than look for a "Home" link. Maybe you should also link the text under the graphic to the relevant page, in case a visitor doesn't realize he/she can click on the graphic.
A nice graphic layout, but you should consider putting up a brief introduction about your business, say something like: "we're in this business for X years" or "we are committed in our business" etc etc.
I get sideways scrolling in 1024 x 768 resolution. I don't know about anyone else but as soon as a site scrolls sideways as well as up and down I close it.
One more thing. On the second page you should put in a video of yourself. Maybe showing the results of a clean carpet, and then ask them to give you a call.
Hello, you have the opportunity to have longer title in your images put 4 to 9 word in each image tiltle now you only have 2 words 1024x it not the best
I'm getting a lot of page not founds, text overlapping image and inconsistent behavior - on one page the list is also links, on another the list is a list. The gray stripe seems like it could be thicker, fill in the bottom of the page. Too many fonts. It looks nice though, colorful and friendly.
