While making a SEO to a website, that website hasn't been indexed for two weeks. I think this seems to be a problem, what do you think? And how can we fix this? Making a fast indexing?

Google will hit your site each time it thinks that the content has changed. That is why you should use a XML site map and Webmaster Tools.

By making small changes to the home page and others on a daily basis, and generating a new XML site map, by submitting it to WMT, you will see a shorter interval.

I do this and I have a 4 day interval.

do you have more than one sitemaps on WMT for your website? Such as sitemap.xml, sitemap1.xml, sitemap2xml, and goes on? Does this work good?

It takes time to get indexed espeically first indexing. Submit one of your article to Digg.com. Another way is that update your content frequenlty at least once ina two days

Updating your content on a daily basis is only half of it. Also, you have to have high-powered links pointing to you. Reason being, if you have good PR-ed sites linking to you, Google realized you're a resource that is valuable and must send the bot of there as often as possible to make sure you haven't updated the site with new content. Just adding new daily won't be enough if you want daily or even hourly crawl updates.

As said previously - update content regularly, update xml sitemap after each content update, submit it to WMT and... ping your xml sitemap at pingomatic too.

    That'll help.

I got a similar problem...I have a site 2-3 months old with already 100 pages indexed, but Google is taking ages to index the other 100+ pages I've added since a couple of weeks...the content is original and I submitted the sitemap at every update.

If your server can take it and you update quite often, you can actually set the crawl rate faster. Each time, after you've finished with the updating, ping your site.

If your site has regular updated content and high PR back links, your site will cache frequently.

Add XML site map, and set high frequency for the site and it's pages. Submit site URL into social bookmarking sites such as Dig, Stumble upon and sphinn.

Google and all other search engines uses only sitemap.xml file. And updating the same file will help, just add the new sitemap with the same name everytime i.e. sitemap.xml and replace the old one.

I heve noticed that alot of people ride off the first response, in this case the "xml sitemap".
There are much faster ways to get a website indexed.
As long as the content is not duplicate your website can be indexed within 6 hours by:
    - Promoting the site on digg.com
    - Posting your link on five PR3+ blogs
    - Posting your link on five PR3+ forum

Backlinks are the best way to gat a site indexed fast and ranked well.

The infamous sitemaps are not adding any reputation to your website.

If you follow all that they said and still not indexed maybe there's something wrong with your site structure.
