Want to sell Forum

    I put this site up for sale a couple of months ago, (http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1052021) but unfortunately the domain had to be 60 days old before a transfer could be made, so the sale fell through.

    Now though, the domain is old enough to be transfered so I'm putting the site up for sale again.


    The URL is: http://www.star-forums.net/

    Included is domain, theme, and all files. The domain was bought with Dreamhost and is currently hosted with Dreamhost.


    A little history:

    The forum used to be under the domain www.secret-eyes.net but I changed it a couple of months ago to a more keyword rich domain.

    It is spidered in Google, and can be found on page 2 for the search term "star forums" (using Google.co.uk).

    The forum has: Total posts 8976 | Total topics 532 | Total members 58

    The site used to be popular and was visited by members everyday until about 5 months ago.

    I was going to close the site down but I figured it'd be a waste, so if anyone would like to buy it please place your bids now.

    There is adsense on there but hasn't made any money through it.

    I have done some SEO and link building on the site so I'm hoping it will receive a PR1 in the next update.

    When I put the site up for sale originally the winning bidder bid $100 for it. I'm hoping to get around that price again but I will start the bids of at $5 and see how it goes.

    I reserve the right not to sell if it doesn't come up with a price that I'm happy with.

    Auction is closing in ten mins.

    I reserved the right to not sell if it came to a price I'm not happy with, and unfortunately $25 is a lot less than I was hoping for. Especially since last time I sold it for $100.

    I'm willing to put the BIN at $75 but that's as low as I'm going to go. If no one buys in the next ten minutes the auction is closed and I'll sell again when the site gets a good PR.
